A selection of editorials from SVA Magazine issue 3 is now available at SVA in Motion. Photographers featured are Thomas Olsen, Ole Marius Fossen, Svein Bringsdal and Baard Lunde.

Sva in motion is a web-based concept for Scandinavian fashion films and high quality editorial work. We want to make an arena, and stimulate more photographers and filmmakers to produce fashion in motion in Scandinavia. We strongly believe in the future for these types of production, both as a commercial aspect as well as a form of art and communication.

Assisting Editor, Ole Marius Fossen, uses one of Karins songs in his fashion movie named SAGA. The film features model Saga Rickmer (MIKAs) from Stockholm and is made in Fashion Images Studio in Bergen.

SVA have launched the SVA in Motion concept by presenting the newest fashion films in the windows of Steen & Strom Magasin. Oslos most prominent fashion-warehouse has given SVA the assignment of decorating all the windows inn all of February. We have used 12 big GRUNDIG flat-screens to show our new concept. Lucky for us, the newest member of our team, Karen Gjelsvik, is a very talented fashion illustrator, and have made illustrations for the window display. Together with beautiful photographs by Svein Bringsdal they contribute to make the windows look like a filmatic dream. Fashion editor Rikke Straus have planned the windows in detail. We love the opportunity and promise the window watcher a great show.

Membrane is produced and directed of Photographer Svein Bringsdal. “Its about a bad dream. The girl is trapped behind a membrane, and she can’t get trough. She is more and more desperate and in the end she is resigning” says Svein. “I was lucky to work with stylist Rikke Straus and editor Jonas Langer on this movie, and Lovecult made the perfect music for this kind of nightmare”
